Shane Byrne is looking forward to taking on his fellow British riders in the 2010 FIM Superbike World Championship.
The Althea Ducati rider will take on six other British riders in a series dominated by his fellow countrymen.
Alongside Byrne will be Jonathan Rea (Ten Kate Honda), Leon Haslam (Alstare Suzuki), Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Superbike), Cal Crutchlow (Sterilgarda Yamaha), Leon Camier (Aprilia Racing) and James Toseland (Sterilgarda Yamaha).
Byrne told Motor Cycle News: "I'm really excited about next year as you can imagine. For sure every team out there will have developed over the winter and everyone will be more familiar with what they need to win and I feel that my team are going to be in good shape.
"The great thing about all the Brits that are in WSB next year is the fact that we all deserve to be there - no one has paid for their ride or anything like that.
"If you look at some of the riders you've got - Toseland coming back who's a double world champion, Leon (Camier) is the BSB champion and Cal is World Supersport champion.
"I've won WSB races and two BSB titles and I know just how fast Tom, Jonathan and Leon (Haslam) are as well. It's going to be good."
