Toni Bou - Repsol Montesa may have extended his winning run and his lead in the 2012 FIM Trial World Championship during the first day of his home GP in Spain, however the reigning champion certainly paid the price for his efforts. Battered and bruised Bou spoke about his day. "It has been a close competition today between the three Spanish riders. Albert (Cabestany) was very strong and so was Adam (Raga) until he made one small mistake in section five on the second lap when he touched the flag. I was riding well until I made the big crash in section twelve on the final lap." "At the moment my condition is OK, but I am not sure about how it will be in the morning. I hope tonight I will recover, as perhaps I have torn some ligament in my leg. Also my finger and thumb is very sore after the crash." "The problem was the sections looked OK, but actually in places they were very slippery which was a big surprise to me and the other riders. There were many crashes today. I hope all will be OK with me to ride tomorrow."
