The Final, held at the CaixaBank Tarraco Arena, was decided in the last section with a four-point margin between Bou and Gabriel Marcelli after the fith one. Marcelli , who secured the World Championship runner-up title by combining his second-place finish with the fourth position of Jaime Busto. Busto, making his debut as a Beta rider, finished fourth after losing his chances to fight for victory due to two five-point penalties in the second and third sections.

One of the six sections in the Final proved impossible to complete for any of the four finalists, while Bou made the difference in the third one where Marcelli, Busto, and Matteo Grattarola (Beta) all incurred five-point penalties. In Tarragona, Grattarola achieved his second podium of the season, adding this third-place finish to the one he earned in Ponte di Legno. The Italian won Q2 by just two seconds over Arnau Farré (Sherco). Behind them in the second phase of the competition were Francesco Titli (Montesa), Harry Hemingway (Beta), and Marco Mempör (TRRS).

Toni Bou (1st): “I’m very happy with this new victory. When you become Champion before the final race, it becomes more important to enjoy the atmosphere and the fans. I was really eager to compete in Tarragona in front of my home crowd. In the final, I kept building good momentum section by section and secured my eighth win of the season. It was a very demanding final. This victory crowns the great work of the entire team in a season that was particularly difficult due to a shoulder injury.”

Gabriel Marcelli (2nd): “I’m very happy. It was an almost perfect night. I wanted to win, but second place here and second in the Championship are good results. I’m satisfied with what I’ve achieved throughout the season. I’ve ridden with great consistency in every single event.”

Matteo Grattarola (3rd): “I didn’t expect this third place because I made some mistakes in Q1 that I could have avoided. I gave it my all in Q2 and managed to reach the final, where I completed one of the sections in which Jaime made a mistake, and that allowed me to get onto the podium.”

In the final Championship standings, Bou finished with 175 points, ahead of Marcelli with 123 and Busto with 107. Hemingway placed fourth with 73 points, and Grattarola fifth with 47.
