Qualifying 2 was cut short when Christian Ruppert and Lucas Bernhard, LCR Suzuki had an engine failure dropping oil on the circuit. It was not a good time for Bennie Streuer and Kees Endeveld, Team Streuer LCR Suzuki, they did not complete one lap due to having overheating problems. This left Ben and Tom Birchall, Michells of Mansfield LCR Yamaha to start tomorrow’s 22 lap race with a pole position time of 1’29.120. Second on the line will be Pekka Paivarinta and Adolf Hanni, Team Suzuki Finland LCR, on the outside of the front row will be Kurt Hock and Enrico Becker, Hock Racing LCR Suzuki. Starting from 4th is Tim Reeves and Gregory Cluze, Haith/Padgett’s LCR Honda, a great qualifying from Johan Reuterholt and Aki Aalto, Reuterholt Motorsport ART Suzuki will start from 5th with a time of 1’31.098. Starting row three will be Mike Roscher and Danny Kamerbeek, RSC-Kopack Racing LCR BMW, Robert Zimmermann and Maik Ziegel, LCR Suzuki slot into 7th with Michael Grabmuller and Axel Kolsch, LCR Kawasaki on the outside in 8th. With a time of 1’32.088 Adam Treasure and Andy Wolfram, Treasure Racing LCR Suzuki will head the 4th row in 9th alongside them is Barry James and Jamie Winn, Santander Salt LCR Suzuki in 10th.
