Big debut for Busto in Barcelona

It is hard to imagine that there can be any bigger stage for seventeen year old Jaime Busto – Repsol Honda to make his debut for his new team following his recent and well documented move from Beta than at today’s 2015 FIM X-Trial World Championship event in Barcelona, Spain.

Busto who was the 2014 FIM Trial World Cup winner has been thrust fully into the spotlight as the selected wild card entrant for this afternoon’s competition following a few weeks of open debate on the internet and social media channels about the circumstances surrounding his move.

Having won seven out of the thirteen counting days in the 2014 FIM Trial World Cup on route to lifting this title, there is no doubt that Busto's inclusion in todays event is on merit alone. Getting to terms with his new factory four-stroke machine in such a hostile environment will be a big challenge for the youngster, but one that Jaime is sure to relish.

Speaking about his recent change of teams Busto said. “I’m really pleased to be able to form a part of the HRC Team, the best team in the World. For me, it really is an honour to be in a team with such great champions as Toni Bou and Takahisa Fujinami. I hope to be able to learn a lot from them. The Montesa Cota 4RT has surprised me. I will have to get used to the four-stroke, but I think that I’ll adapt to it
