In 2016, Pat Bowden dominated the LifeProof Best Whip at the NIGHT of the JUMPs. In 2017 the Australian already saved 3 out of 6 whip contest wins this season!
Pat Bowden, Marc Pinyol, Filip Podmol, Massimo Bianconcini, Leonardo Fini and Mat Rebeaud were the riders for the first whip competition of the year 2017 in Basel Switzerland. The Swiss crowd pushed their national hero Mat to even bigger whips. With this, Mat stole his opponents the show and found himself next to the young Podmol in the final. They both turned their bikes again to the moon. The judges voted for the Swiss – to the delight of the 8,000 fans in the St. Jakobshalle.
Pat Bowden, Marc Pinyol, Filip Podmol, Massimo Bianconcini, Leonardo Fini and Kai Haase took part in the LifeProof Best Whip competition at the NIGHT of the JUMPs Berlin. Marc Pinyol and Filip Podmol had the best whips of the night and an incredible battle for the whip crown – which finally Pinyol took.
On the second day of the Grand Prix in Berlin the fight between Pat Bowden and Marc Pinyol was on! After throwing out all the other riders in the semi-finals, the boys “whipped” their 180-style. The Australian whip winner from 2016 turned his 2 stroke a bit further than the young Spaniard and got his first LifeProof trophy 2017.
In Cracow – Poland Filip Podmol the young Czech turned his bike to the maximum and celebrated his first win in 2017 in the Best Whip. The fans of the NIGHT of the JUMPs in Munich experienced the sickest whips ever shown in their capital state. Filip Podmol and Pat Bowden “whipped” one opponent out after another. The Aussie demanded revenge and took another win with perfect turndown whips „180 Style“
Pat and Kai Haase had such an insane battle in Hamburg at the Barclaycard Arena. But Pat’s consistency in his whips leaded to another trophy for him!
Can Pat Bowden get another victory in Best Whip? We will see it at the next round in China.
