A highly successful FIM Motocamp in Portugal!

Four days of fantastic motorcycling ended this weekend in Sabrosa, Portugal. Hosted by the Moto Clube do Porto, the 2014 FIM Motocamp was a huge hit with riders from seventeen nations and no less than twenty-seven different clubs.

Winners of the FIM Trophy were the British who clocked up an impressive 107,228 kilometres (66642 miles). France won the Ferruccio Colucci trophy with a combined total (riders and passengers) attending of ninety-four. The España challenge for the largest club attendance went to the Mayflower club of the UK with a total of forty riders and passengers.

So what of the media impact of this FIM classic event? It attracted national television reports twice as well as coverage in the national press!

The FIM would like to thank the organising team led by Nuno Leite. In a note to the organisers, Luc and Cathy from the Moto Club Meymac in France wrote this:

"Vraiment bravo pour tout! Vous êtes géniaux. Bonne et longue vie au Moto Club de Porto!"
