2025 FIM Sidecar World Championship FIM International Court of Appeal Decision

Following round seven of the 2025 FIM Sidecar World Championship checks were made by FIM officials that identified potential infringements of the relevant technical regulations. As a result of further investigations by an independent institution, the FIM Sidecar World Championship International Jury found Team Steinhausen Racing #1 machine as non-compliant with the 2025 FIM Sidecar World Championship Technical Regulations (Article 2.3.4) and were disqualified from the whole event.

After having been notified of the disqualification, Team Steinhausen Racing lodged an appeal against the decision of the FIM International Jury to the FIM International Court of Appeal (CAI), in accordance with Article 5 of the 2025 FIM Disciplinary Code.

Subsequently the CAI has rejected the appeal filed by Team Steinhausen (Payne/Rousseau) and upheld the FIM International Jury's decision of 14 November 2025.

The CAI has therefore confirmed the disqualification of Team Steinhausen (Payne/Rousseau) from the entire Oschersleben event - round seven of the 2025 FIM Sidecar World Championship.

The results for round seven and the final championship standings have been updated accordingly.
