2024 FIM Awards – Meet the presenters

Acting as Masters of Ceremony at such a glittering global occasion as the 2024 FIM Awards would be a daunting prospect for most, but for the three presenters who will be sharing centre stage with so many FIM World Champions this coming Saturday evening (7 December) in the Palma Convention Centre on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca it is entirely second nature.

Developing a passion for sports at an early age, Barbara Pedrotti’s career spans multiple disciplines and as a presenter she is a familiar face for fans of FIM MotoGP™and Formula 1, although engines are not a prerequisite and her work also takes in such diverse sporting occasions as the Giro d’Italia (Cycling Tour of Italy) and various UEFA football events. A former model, the Italian has also built a career in television working with establishments that include Sky, Mediaset and beIN Sports France.

A two-time FIM Superbike World Champion, Britain’s James Toseland needs no introduction to fans of motorcycle racing and he is also well-known to fans of rock music through his band, ‘Toseland’, with a top-forty UK Rock Chart album and numerous releases including ‘We’ll Stop at Nothing’, Team GB’s official anthem for the 2017 Special Olympics. However, when he is not belting out hit songs the gifted singer and pianist remains at the heart of the world motorcycle community through his TV work with Eurosport and Discovery+.

The recognised face of FIM Superbike World Championship and FIM MotoGP™ coverage in the UK, Matt Roberts’ career stretches back over twenty years working for Dorna Sports, the BBC, ITV, Eurosport and Discovery+. A successful writer, translator and bi-lingual event MC, he has been a regular presenter at the FIM Awards for more than adecade.

This will be the only occasion this year that so many motorcycling heroes will be in the same place at the same time and it truly is an event that is not to be missed. However, those unable to attend on Saturday evening in person will be able to watch the entire FIM Awards live and for free on FIM-MOTO.TV, DAZN Spain / MAX / and Discovery+from 22.10hrs CET.
