The nations competing in Events 1 and 2 of the 2016 Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup have been confirmed.
Four-time SWC winners Denmark host Event 1 at the legendary Vojens Speedway Center on Saturday, July 23, where they face stiff competition from six-time champions Poland, Russia and the Czech Republic.
The action switches to Event 2 at Vastervik on Tuesday, July 26, where reigning champions Sweden play host to Australia and the USA.
The line-up will be completed by the winners of the qualifying round at Italian track Terenzano on June 2, as Italy meet Latvia, Slovenia and Germany for the final spot in the competition.
The top two countries from Events 1 and 2 join hosts Great Britain in the Monster Energy SWC Final at the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester on Saturday, July 30.
The second and third-placed sides compete in the Race Off at Belle Vue Aces’ new home on Friday, July 29, with the winners taking the fourth and final place in Saturday’s showdown.
