2009 FIM Long Track World Championship Challengers

Date – 27th September 2009 – First Heat – 01:30 pm

Practice – 26th September 2009 – 01:00 pm

 

Great riders of the last 40 years have been racing in Pfarrkirchen –Ole Olsen, Anders Michanek, Simon Wigg, Micheal Lee, Alois Wiesböck, Egon Müller, Ivan Mauger, Karl Maier, Robert Barth and of course about a dozen times the 2009 FIM Long Track World Champion  Gerd Riss.

This year, the FIM Long Track World Championship Challenge is held on the Rennbahn Pfarrkirchen. 18 riders will try to get one of 7 starting places for the 2010 FIM Long Track Wold championship Finals.

The event is held in 12 Qualifying Heats – followed by 2 Semifinals and a Final. For these riders the Challenge is most important for their future in Track Racing in 2010.
