Distinctions & FIM Trophies

The FIM Board of Directors and FIM General Assembly approve the proposals put forward by the FIM Awards and Recognition Board Committe to award Honorary titles, FIM Distinctions and Trophies in recognition of invaluable services to motorcycling activities.

FIM / IFM Trophies

It is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of the new FIM / IFM Trophies system.
To recognise and celebrate those who have significantly contributed to the development and promotion of sporting and beyond-sport activities in the field of motorcycling, two different trophies have been established.

The FIM Sporting Trophy

The FIM Sporting Trophy is awarded exclusively to recipients in the sport category. It recognizes the achievement of a significant contribution of a natural or legal person, performed in the context of motorcycle sport disciplines.

Candidatures:
The National Federations and/or FIM Sporting Commission Directors, through their respective Coordinators, are kindly requested to send their proposals to the FIM Administration; the FIM Administration will gather the documents received and present them to the Jury composed of members of the FIM Awards and Recognition Committee.

The IFM Beyond Sport Trophy

The IFM Beyond Sport Trophy is exclusively awarded to natural or legal persons in the beyond-sport category; it recognizes outstanding achievements in one or several aims having a direct link to the activities of the International Foundation for Motorcycling (for example Safety, Advocacy, Education and Training, Sustainability, Promotion of Women, Mobility, Touring, Leisure, Motorcycling Heritage & Legacy etc.).

Candidatures:
The National Federations and/or FIM Beyond Sport Commission Directors, through their respective Coordinators (if any), are kindly requested to send their proposals to the FIM Administration; the FIM Administration will gather the documents received and present them to the Jury composed of members of the IFM Board.

We encourage all FIM Family members to participate in this exciting opportunity to recognize the most exceptional initiatives, the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments within the motorcycling community.

As a general rule, the right is reserved not to award any prize if no application complies with the requirements set by the FIM and the IFM.

Should you require any additional information, don’t hesitate to contact us at: recognition@fim.ch.
Thank you for your continued support to motorcycling activities!
