Registration process under way for historic 6DAYS® FIM Enduro of Nations centenary edition

The FIM is delighted to announce that the registration process for the historic one-hundredth edition of the 6DAYS® FIM Enduro of Nations – officially opens today.

The oldest event on the FIM calendar, the FIM International Six Days’ Enduro as it previously known as, was first staged in Britain’s famous Lake District back in 1913 and is widely celebrated as the ultimate test of rider and machine with a punishing six-day schedule across highly challenging terrain pushing competitors to the limits of endurance.

First staged in Portugal – a country steeped in Enduro culture – in 1999, the oldest nation state on the Iberian Peninsula and one of the oldest in Europe, has held subsequent editions in 2009 and most recently in 2019. For the momentous occasion of the event’s centenary, the action will be focussed around the picturesque town of Grândola that lies around one-hundred kilometres south-east of capital city Lisbon in the beautiful Alentejo region. This will be the first time ever the 6DAYS has been hosted in this area.

For 2026 the registration process has again been broken down into four separate steps and gets under way with the initial stage that runs from 6-22 March and is reserved for Moto Clubs to register teams in the Club Team Award (CTA) category (not riders).

This is followed by step two, running from 23 March until 12 April, when CTA riders must register and specify their National Federation (FMN), the Moto Club they will represent and the CTA they intend to compete for.

Running from 13 April until 17 May, step three is when the Club Teams must approve all rider affiliation requests to finalise the pre-registration process. Step three is also when all FMNs must ratify CTA team compositions as well as pre-register World Trophy Teams and pay fifty per cent of registration fees to the local organiser.

The fourth and final step runs from 18 May until 12 July when FMNs must complete the registration process for their World Trophy Teams and CTA Teams and complete payments to the local organiser.

The biggest event on the global Enduro calendar, the 6DAYS FIM Enduro of Nations attracts professional and amateur riders from more than thirty countries spread across six continents who gather annually to determine the sport’s leading nations.

The one-hundredth edition of the 6DAYS FIM Enduro of Nations will take place in the Alentejo region of Portugal, from 12-17 October 2026.
