La deuxième journée de compétition dans le Championnat du Monde FIM de Motocross Freestyle, à Shenzen (Chine) n'a pas déçu. Bueacoup de pilotes battus ont tenté des choses, d'abord pour prendre place dans le top 6 où figuraient Brice Izzo, Petr Pilat, Libor Podmol, Maikel Melero, David Rinaldo et Rob Adelberg. Il manquait le troisième de la veille, Hannes Ackermann, qui connaissait un souci technique, et Dany Torres, seulement 10e des qualifications.
Dans la finale, la victoire revenait à un David Rinaldo particulièrement déterminé grâce à un California Roll, Volt et Double Hart Attack flip devant celui qu'il détrône en tête du Championnat, Melero, de retour à son meilleur ou presque. Dernier à s'élancer, Libor Podmol ne oiuvait inverser la tendance.
Tout le monde se donne rendez-vous le 7 novembre au Brésil, à Caraguatatuba (près de Sao Paulo) pour une dernière manche qui s'annonce serrée.
