Former MotoGP champion Casey Stoner admitted he still needed to work on his physical condition after topping the timesheets on the final day of pre-season testing at Sepang in Malaysia.
The Ducati Marlboro rider had surgery over the winter to correct a wrist problem which plagued him last season as he lost his title to Fiat Yamaha's Valentino Rossi.
"Considering that I have recently had an operation and my wrist has still not fully recovered, to be the fastest rider here is a dream to be honest," said Stoner. "Now I have to work hard on improving my physical condition and recovering the level of movement I need to ride the bike properly without pain."
